I rarely take long breaks like not playing for an entire week or month. But I stop for the day, whenever I feel, I am no longer enjoying to play and/or I am not able to perform well and play at least my B-game. That might be due to fatigue or tilt or simply lack of motivation. If you find yourself constantly multitasking and not focusing on the game, its usually a good sign to take a break

Hello, I don't take big breaks from poker as I don't play it every day! For me poker is a hobby and entertainment and I play it when I have free time from my main job! Sometimes I can't even play it for a week or two, when I am completely loaded with basic work and therefore I get breaks! But I like this game and I try to play when I have the opportunity!MimiMLZ said:

When I can't concentrate on the game and I make bad plays, I withdraw for a few days, study or watch videos and then resume my game.

When you lose focus, when you pay hands that you really shouldn't have to pay, that's when you need to stop and take a break.

Hi.
I don't play poker if I'm very tired or in a bad mood. Apparently these are the cases when I take a break. I play poker an average of 3-4 days a week, so I don't have to take frequent breaks.

I will stop for a while if I don’t feel very invested, if I’m frustrated, or if I have too many other things on my mind. Any of the above will cause me to have less patience and not be able to focus and enjoy the game as much as I like.

I will lose absolutely all hands in a row with more than 95% to win. This cannot even be in theory. Either the math does not work or they deceive me. One of two. Sorry, I can’t play this anymore.It's time to take a break or quit poker for good.
