Any thoughts or pride at what you accomplished in amassing play chips needs to be thrown out the window. You should now set a clear goal with a real money bankroll. Personally - mine was to establish an absolute target amount before I started 'buying in' and naturally that can come from either deposits themselves or deposits with free roll earnings. But even there it pays to be prudent and perhaps exercise some patience. If you cannot afford to deposit too much, deposit a little on your chosen poker site and let it sit a while without playing it. A month later, add some more ...do so until you feel comfortable enough with playing a percentage (and percentage only) of that bankroll. As noted, exercise patience and use a month or two (whatever it takes) to play free rolls and build the funds at your disposal. More importantly, understand that you are already exhibiting bankroll management before even playing a hand! But to underscore - learning the game with play chips is one thing, but any idea a play chip bankroll relates to a real world bankroll needs to be tossed already. [/QUOTE]
