busiest (& best?) day of the week for online poker

Does anyone know what day of the week is generally the busiest / has the highest traffic on internet poker sites? I looked at www.pokerscout.com and unless I'm an idiot it looks like they show traffic reports for specific sites, what it was like over the last 24 hr period, and what the 7 day average is -- but not which days of the week have high volume.

Mostly I'm just curious ... but I'm also thinking high traffic times might be the most profitable times. (You know, the bigger the pool, the more fish swimming around. ) But maybe I'm wrong. I'll bet weekend nights are good because people are more likely to be tipsy, coming home after a night out, etc? But maybe the good players know this so are also playing a lot too. Not sure. Any theories?)

(p.s. I should add that I'm talking about U.S. timezones more or less ... but maybe it's a false assumption to think there are more U.S. players out there than from the rest of the world? I don't know. Enlighten me.)

If I would have to assume, I would say during the weekend, probably Saturday night/Sunday during the day. The only reason I say this is because people are off, and there are special tournaments on the weekends. Hopefully someone else will know for sure.

I would deffinately say Sunday. thats when the biggest prizepool tournaments are played and this has a knock on effect on other tournys. most have an increase of about 15% i would say.

For cash games the best time is at night on the weekends

Sundays! I dedicate Sunday afternoons to online poker because of all the big tourneys are on Sundays then that draw in cash players as well.

There are more games and all of the big ones on Sunday but for some reason that seems to be the day that I do the worst. Maybe trying to play to many games was thinking of cutting back and see if the results get better.

Friday night and Saturday night is where you will find the loose play,,, I call it "drunk nights" Sometimes they will call or bet with anything.

Sunday with out a doubt has to have the most traffic. Just look at when the majority of the big tourneys are. You will find sunday less people working or doing anything on lazy sundays.

Friday and saturday night are generally most profitable. Sunday is traffic wise very interesting.

I think thursdays and tuesdays are often the worst in terms of traffic and some of the guarantee tournaments don't fill up on sites on those days.

For best and busiest you probably want the weekend.
