What lindy Ruff did was cowardly and pathetic and he is an embarrasment to the NHL. Honestly I wanted to see Bryan Murray go after him and tool him. I just don't understnad why he didn't just send Peters out the next shift when Neil was on the ice? However, full marks to Emery who was probably the toughest person on the ice for Ottawa, not only did he take on the other goalie and tool him, then he took on the other teams toughest player. I think that if Emery didn't have the goalie gear on he would have pounded peters into the ground. What I'd like to know is how was the Neil hit on Drury any different from the Colby Armstrong hit on Saku Koivu a few weeks ago? When sheldon Souray stood up for Koivu he got a 5 minute fighting penalty, 2 minute instigator and a game misconduct.... even though the other guy dropped his gloves first and threw the first punch? Basically all five guys on Buffalo who were on the ice should be suspended and so should Lindy Ruff, but alas I don't think that anything is going to happen in that regard and it will be one more sad example of how the NHL has no consistency in anything and is turning into a joke bush league. I love a good fight as much as the next guy, but what does it prove for Andrew Peters to try and jump Jason Spezza..... I could kick Spezza's ass. [/QUOTE]
