Frankly I do not like SNG and I prefer regular tournaments, I think SNGs should be satellites for other tournaments. Now the cash gamer, are very difficult because you can lose a lot of money at the moment you play.
I recommend evaluating some regular tournaments and changing.

Which ever game you show the most profit on should be the one you choose.

I've spent the last year on and off playing micro stakes cash games pretty much only unless I come across a good MTT Freeroll. I just feel like cash games teach the fundamentals of NLHE and then you can build and modify from there for SNGs and MTTs. But honestly the reason I chose cash games is because I feel like it has the lesser amount of variance. In that I don't want to be 30 sit n go buyins in the hole before I figure out that I'm playing poorly. I feel like for cash games you can realize this quicker with less capital invested. I might be wrong though. Eventually I'd like to learn some tournament strategy however.

I liked 5nl zoom 9max cash , fast , easy over 170 players , very easy over 190 players , but now , the 10nl I have to watch it carefully , to take notes to be sure for the next step :) 2nl is for kids IMO :D (alotof crazy calls/shoves) Regular cash games I have no patience for plus I think I am a fish there (and 6max I think you really have to be good there ,more than 9 max imo :) ) .

Sng I used to play 40players 8max 1$ on 888poker (with step ticket, a good offer :)) , now I can't play it for some reasons (format on pc and lost the lobby , now can't download the lobby from my country and only there the 1$sng can be played :( ,but anyway it's very good and easy this particular sng :)

On pokerstars I try from the bottom of the foodchain (10cent sng) , no luck for now , but I still have to learn a lot more (but in the past on pokerstars I tried the 0.25sng 90 players , good results , once finished second , you have 15min blinds , you see alot of hands-very important to me , sure I am gonna try it again in the very near future now that 888 sngs are out of the picture ,but 888 generally is more easy I think , trying the sngs there [micros] especially with step tickets is a good opportunity:)),

Good luck to you :)
