Changing your stats...

How long does it take to change your stats on card shark, poker edge etc. Like say a red to a rock, rock to maniac. I`ve tried the suggestion,like play looser, play tigher, be more aggressive. I`ve tried all those things, and it just doesn't change.

Those stats are based on percentages. You'd have to play enough that your average play falls into the new category.

The rankings don't mean much. I remember Poker-Edge had some sort of overly-aggressive ranking on me but I was playing 6-max and it didn't take that into consideration. Then I switched to full ring for awhile and was making substantially less $, but then it had me classified as an eagle (or whatever it was) and said my arms must be store from raking in all that money (or something like that).

So don't worry about it.

Yeah, I've yet to see a good read on myself at one of these sites. They are more for an average than for a definite look into how a person plays.
