chat in tourny

was playing in rebuy sat for DD on FT. and a friendly italian sat down and announced himself. at first i said so then JK and lol. we started talking, something i never would of done in a heated tourny but this one wasn't going my way at the time. was card dead and waiting most the time.

he said his name was dario. the name sounded familiar, especially after he said he played poker for a living and was going to play in EPT soon.

so i asked his last name and it wasn't minieri. the cute little italian i saw on TV and the commentators made fun of him cause he wore a scarf around his neck, a knitted scarf no less in the middle of summer. but i guess with the air conditioning in those casinos it can get pretty cool.

i got a little excited until i found out it wasn't him.

does anyone else have something similiar that happened to them? do you think this italian could of been pulling my leg?

Yeah. I was selling a cell phone to a guy in person that looked just like Henry Cho, who was my wife's favorite comedian at the time. She called me at work while I was helping him and as I was telling her he was here, he said that he wasn't Henry. So as he was filling out the application for phone service, I found out his name was Tom or something. I should have known that it wasn't Henry since he didn't have a southern accent, but I thought it was just an act ... until then.
