Custo's in trouble and needs your help (Only poker related)

I haven't posted here since the end of last year cause I've been so ensconced in playing.

I've pretty much summarized my winging and bitching in the post below.

Need some help.

I am offline for the next 4 days but if you do read this post and feel you can help I am interested in hearing from you and what you/we can do.

i would definitely say a break is the best thing for you now, you have to just keep the faith, if your a good player your going to continue to win, but occasionally you will definitely hit a downswing from time to time, bad beats are part of the game , just keep your head up and keep playing after your break, because one thing i know is that a discouraged player loses nine times out of ten.

I feel you pain, custo. But frankly, that's just part of playing poker. You got to get used to it.

I'm somewhat of a BR nit, and yet i've have downswings in the past that took off close to 50% of my BR. But I always rebuilt much higher afterwards. So 15% really isn't that bad, tbh.

My advice: take a small break, drop down a limit or two so money does not matter, drop number of table and concentrate strictly on taking good poker decisions.

One trick I like is to stack all tables in a single stack so that you never see the result of your actions as another table always pops up on top asking for more action. It's not optimal in terms of poker playing because you loose a little in terms of following the game flow, so i'd mostly do it at lower stakes than usual. But it's the nuts in terms of training proper attitude toward the game, i.e. that only taking the right decisions matters, and that how the cards play out to the river is really a very secondary issue.
