In my weekly home game we play 4 games. NL Hold'em, PLO, PLO8, and Stud 8. During the stud rotation, I was out of the hand and not in the room but when I got in there was a big argument going on.
The dealer, we play with a steady dealer who is also in the game to make things easier. He dealt the river face down, but announced that one of the players cards flashed and kept dealing passed him. So a whole argument ensued on what to do. I didn't speak up and they ultimately ended up chopping the pot 4 ways. I think the official ruling would be the same as any Hold'em game where an exposed card is taken away and a new card is dealt. But my head was not clear from all the argument and I was thinking maybe his card is just replaced with the burn card before the river.
I'd like if someone can clarify this for me, thanks.
