The dealer made a mistake for sure. In the end though, you were getting into a coin-flip no matter what. You lost the coin-flip because variance. Not because the dealer made a mistake.

Now, think about this. You lost a free-roll that was not yours to win that day regardless of who you want to blame but YOUR actions might have cost someone his job because you're obviously not skilled enough to know the difference between bad luck and bad people conspiring against you.
