LAGs play more hands than most players. Good LAGs play well enough to compensate for the fact that their starting hand range is wider than their opponents'. Mediocre and poor LAGs do not.

LAG know when to fold and when they are beat, know when to steal a pot and know when to give up.
LAGTARD doesn't. They fight for every pot and often will stack of with any sort of draws/pair.
