For myself on my online poker I just look at my balance about once a week. I'm at the point where I realize I'm not losing but I'm not winning much. Of course, I'm only playing a couple hours a week. I seem to do better at live poker but play ONLY a few times a year. DAMN work gets in the way! The question I ask myself is are my results due to normal fluctuations?
