I asked Tonkaaaa about this once about this, and he says that he doesn't feel sorry for people, but if people clearly really care about the money, he tries to avoid playing against them so that he doesn't ruin them. This sounds like a fair approach to take at the nosebleed stakes.

But no. At the micro- low stakes you can't just feel bad for grandpa because he lost $50 and he has a picture of a dog as an avatar.

I can see what you mean, but I think that playing the best you can is always best. If someone doesn't know how bankroll management works and they play at the micros then they can go ahead and lose it.
