Do you play poker every day? Or should you take a break when?

In the last month I think I played everyday. There are days I can play for 4-5 hours (or even more), but there are days that I can only play for 1-2 hours. I only play poker when I'm in the mood to play, so, when I'm bored of poker I take a break of 1-2 days.

I play around 3-4 hours on the weekends only, imo its hard to find time to play during the week with a 9-17 job

Every single day for about 10 hours...sometimes longer.

I usually restrict the number of tables when I get really tired because I start to make mistakes.

Whenever I have time, especially on weekends when I can fully focus on the game, but during the week too... But playing during the week I end up having to be absent from time to time.

I play everyday at the microstakes. Since my wins or losses equates to a cup of coffee it is cheap entertainment. It is a lot more fun than watching TV and you have to think!

In my opinion, playing for seven or more days without a break is wrong. A break must be mandatory, at least one day a week. A break allows you to regain your form and replenish your patience. Without a break, the results will deteriorate.

I think you should look better at the weekly or monthly hours you play, it's not bad to play short-term poker every day, but if you use your 8 hours of free time in the game every day it would be really bad.
