I did during the Lock downs, at least the first one, but at some point I burnt out and now I rarely play. Having my weekly Live game stopped by the Lock downs I turned back to On-line poker for my Poker Fix, You need to understand I started playing On-line some 20 years ago just playing Freerolls until I had won enough to Buy-in to games. I did this on several different sites so never made a lot of money, but making money was the last thing on my mind. I wanted to get better at the game so I wouldn't show myself up in a live event, I took the knowledge I had acquired into the Live events and that is where I made most of my money, On-line was just used to practice, and for Fun! Then the Government shut down all the Pubs and Casinos so I only had On-line Poker to get my Fix! I decided that if I was as good at the game as I thought I was, then there should be no problem in making money from On-line Poker, as I had a PokerStars account already with just over $200 Dollars in it, I tried to double it, Which I managed to do in no time at all, Playing a maximum of Ten games every day and I joined Cardschat so I could play in the Freerolls on offer every day. I actually trebled it to over $600 Dollars, Then for no apparent reason I just got bored with it all. Even now after the Lock Downs have been lifted, my usual Pub I used to play at has re-opened, I find it hard to return to the Live scene I once Loved. Covid Lock Downs did a lot more than just stop the Virus, They did a lot of damage to a lot of people that cannot return to their old way of Life, and I am just another Victim of it. Will I ever get the Poker Bug back? I doubt it, Even Cardschat Freerolls have stopped on PokerStars so really there is nothing to get me interested in Poker. I might even stop following Cardschat one day as I try to keep my Platinum Status open but some days I just cannot be bothered, one way or the other, I had hoped that keeping up with the Forum would help me find that spark again, but it's failing to give me any interest in playing Poker Live or On-line. Good Luck to everyone that Loves the game as much as I once did and if you do see me at a table on PokerStars Say Hi!
