I'm also more motivated to play poker when I'm back at home because I know what I'm working for: A beautiful life experience with my friends wherein I can be fully present and my mind won't be distracted by thoughts of desire or need. I'm much happier having integrated this sort of balance into my life, and I highly encourage the same to others. Planning a poker trip is fun because it's exciting, and planning a real trip is even more fun because there are so many more things you can do when you have an extra $500-5000 to work with and an extra 5-7 days to enjoy it!
