It wasn't until around 6 years later that poker became a big part of my life. Me and my father would watch the WPT on tv all the time. I remember seeing Daniel Negreanu get 2 WPT final tables in a row and thought it was insane. We eventually all started playing online, although I couldn't play until a few years later because I wasn't 18 yet. My older brother became obsessed with it and eventually dropped out of school to play full-time.

Fast-forward a couple years and I started playing in some home games where we would play dealer's choice of all different kinds of card games, not just poker. Those days were a lot of fun(especially when I was the big winner).

Fast-forward a couple more years and the US government decided they have the right to stop people from playing poker online and all the best poker sites were blocked for US players. Online Poker just hasn't been quite the same since that day.
