Currently, my poker income is being used to pay my monthly bills. I'll have to start earning more to be able to maintain a minimum bankroll.

Of course, I keep the money I earn from poker separate from my personal finances. Since I play for fun, I can't mix the money I earn from my job with the money I earn from poker.

The bankroll is working capital, not personal money. Keeping it separate protects your personal stability (you may make poor decisions under emotional pressure, and you could run out of money for basic expenses).

I definitely keep them separate, because since I only play as a hobby, what I earn is extra money. I don't go shopping expecting to win at poker.

More should come out than goes in. if this doesn't happen time to buckle down. I also don't keep a bankroll anywhere other than my personal accounts.

Yes, I keep them separate. My bankroll is working capital, not real-life money. It helps a lot mentally no pressure to pay bills with poker winnings. Once the two get mixed, bad decisions usually follow.

Hi
Of course :)
Are there players who don't do this?
In my opinion, keeping all your money in one poker account is not very ‘practical’.
I have a separate bankroll for tournaments, a separate bankroll for other games, and I also have a bankroll for sports betting. I don't have a bankroll for online casinos, I only play when I have unexpected profits from poker.

The right thing is to separate them, yes — but since I’m not exactly a rule-follower, haha.

That's the way it should be, you can't use money for your daily expenses to play poker, because poker is long-term, you need study and dedication to be a winning player.

For now I have not withdrawn, practically I have it separately, so that I accumulate a little more, I will withdraw 60% to pay for some expenses for the month.

Not a very clear question...
Are you asking whether, when I go to the store, I pay for groceries with my “bankroll” or my wallet?

I play for fun online, so just freerolls or low buy ins. Very occasionally I might play cash games and tournaments live and for that I just keep some cash around. I buy-in in cash until I use all my cash. If I have too much cash- which is never the case, I just deposit it in my bank account. I have, on several occasions, deposited small amounts online, but I end up busting my online bankroll.
