I've started out with low amounts of cash twice $34 and $2, when I first started playing and then after coming back to playing after a couple years break, and it's so much easier to build a roll with even the $34 than the $2 that I firmly believe it's in the best interests of a decent player to make at least a small deposit. For the $2 after 176 games I was only at $28.63 from playing $.55 ultra turbo STTs (not the best choice probably, but it worked since I'd have limited time to play and I suck at cash games,) I threw BRM at that point, playing $5 and $10s and built it up to $179 in the next 16 tourneys as I had a deposit method available to me at that point in case I went bust, and it's been growing nicely since then. The point of all that is (aside from bragging :) that you're going to make a lot more money more quickly if you have even a small bankroll to start with if you know how to play decently well. For people who don't know how to play well freerolls or the lowest stakes you can find might be more advisable of course. [/QUOTE]
