I try to always tip.  I play 1-2 so the pots aren't gigantic, but if I win more than I put in to the pot I will tip a dollar.  If I win a large pot I will usually toss the dealer 5 or 6 bucks.  On the flip side of things if I am down and win a pot but the pot does not bring me back into a profit I will not tip.  I will tell the dealer that I am not forgetting to tip, and then I promise to tip once I turn a profit.  If the dealer is still at the table on the hand I turn a profit on I tip my standard tip.  After the dealer gets the tip and thanks me for it I reach in and toss the dealer one more chip.  As I toss it I say for the tip I promised you.

When I go to the cage I tip them too, and just like Riderfan I like to cash out in large bill amounts.  I rack my chips and whatever is left over after an amount under $5 is what they get.  That way I am getting bills of $5 denomination or larger.  I guess that means I tip the cage anywhere from $1 to $4 dollars.  If I cashed an amount that doesn't have any one dollar bills coming back to me I will tip the cage $5 if I cashed $105 or more.

I tip because I feel as though I morally should tip.  I do not like to tip but I do it.  This is one of the reasons I usually choose to play cash games online.;)
