Another example is, you play in a tourney and you are on the button with middle stack, one of the blinds is sitting out, you've got a garbage hand like 72 and decide not to steal with it, but somehow everyone folds to you and another guy on blinds lost Internet connection and became sitting out too, and you have already used the auto-fold button (let's say you play many tables and didn't even notice what happened). Of cause it's better to steal the blinds in this case. I'm pretty sure there is a plenty of other good examples that you can find. Sometimes these button help you (especially when you play many tables) but, as I said, they can hurt you as well. So I would say using these is some kind of a bad habit.
