The way to stop these type of drugs isn't to make them legal it is to keep people from trying it for the first time as this is where people get addicted.. Crack and heroin have terrible side effects and are nearly impossible to get off of by your self..

If I can just go to a general store and by crack its 100,000 x more possible I'm going to become an addict.

Saying it cost to much to stop drugs is a horrible example of a why or why not to be illeagal, where do you stop? Hey rape, murder, are expensive lets make it legal and see if it stops just is not going to work just like drugs.

Maybe instead of making it a less of a penalty it should become more of a penalty? I guarantee drugs and crime rate will go down if the people dealing them get life in prison or worse..
