Theres video lottery connected to pretty much every gas station, liquor store, bar, or restaurant. Its like your in a new country... Why are the laws so much more loose on gambling here? Anyways... My big question is: What if you were to privately get together with people and play a game of gambling. What are the risks? Is it highly illegal in all 3 states or would south dakota be more cool about it? What if your playing a limit game where bets are really small? Like 1 cent to 2 bucks? Are the laws different depending on the amount of cash your privately gambling with? Im sure this kind of thing is done alot, buddies gathering together to gamble lightly with each other's cash no 100's or 1000's of dollar range bets. Im guessing its pretty much illegal, but if your sitting with clean, and trusted friends and relatives in your home and doing this sort of thing whats the law going to do? But who wants to play poker and grab money from close friends and relatives anyway?? I'd rather round up some more "distant" friends to play that, but im guessing the more intense you get with it the more likely you are to be busted. [/QUOTE]
