The donk reflex

im sure there might be a name for this,but what do you guys think about a player that lost a big pot either by a better hand or on the river,when the next jand is dealt they go all in, no matter how bad of a hand they got they do it,even more so when you taunt them :rofl:

That's being on tilt. In fact, that's the picture postcard of a player on tilt. Depending on position (how many left to act behind me) I might call call this guy a little lighter than I usually would. You can practically visualize this guy throwing his hands up and cussing. Sometimes there is name calling and criticisms hurled and that's a dead giveaway that this cat is definitely on tilt. And I thank him for that.

A few times this weekend, I lost big pots to draws and immediately picked up As, Ks or Qs the very next hand. I tried my hardest to appear like one of the aforementioned individuals, making statements to try to demonstrate frustration and irritation before I shipped my stack. I got a call almost every time and was right back in the game.

Saw it in a live mtt about a month ago. Dorky lookin' kid is chip leader and then has trip aces cracked by runner runner flush. The next hand the kid shoves the rest of his stack (i think is was like 35bb) with J-6 into another player's K-K. Game over kid leaves. The beneficiary of the donation says "I love nerd rage" thunderous laughter erupts from everyone. The rest of card room stares at our table. I guess that label only works if villain is a nerd.

And this is why I love picking up a monster right after I get sucked out on.
