Hmmm...I think you're letting the suckout cloud your vision of a chance to learn something here..... Let's switch positions with the big stack for a moment... you look down and see 10,9 os... a guy in EP w/short stack of 10K goes goes all... the final table just started so 1/2 the players have NO READS on you and you most likely have no reads on 1/2 the others. You think for a moment and decide the Short Stack has big ace and is either hoping for a steal of the blinds or for it to hold up and at least double up. At this point you haven't decided what exactly you are going to do... Folds around to a guy in mid position... he's got the short stack out stacked 6:1... he hesitates and raises to 30K... leaving a mere 28K behind... one by one the rest fold around to you... hmmm do I fould this junk? Maybe the mid will take out the short... or maybe the short will weaken the mid...hmmmm....wait a minute... the worst possible case is I'm in a three way and one is already all in....and the most he can bet is 28K into a pot of 70K...so if I hit the flop...maybe I should flat calll...but any overs on the flop and I have to throw this in to that 28K bet.... but wait a second...the mid stack's weak PF bet is screaming I have 'ok' cards, but not good enough that I shoved with em...so let's assume he has mid to low pockets...or possibly Ace big... what if I represent BIG pockets? IF he folds then what? I win the side pot of 20K and most likely lose 10K to the short stack... but what else happens here?... since the short stack is all-in, EVERYONE will see me "bluff" with 910 os and/or think I'm LAG... my PF raises with good cards are going to draw a lot of action from here on out! If I shove, and he calls... I most likely have two overs or HE slow played a monster and I'm in deep! Let's make a play...ALLIN!
