During this was the time with all the US law changes with online gambling. The day of the tourney I go next door to watch him play it and he tells me that they will not allow any US players to play in the finals due to new laws in US. I was like well atleast you got the 5k ticket to get your money with. Wrong!!! they never gave him his money he earned and they cutt off all ties with US play and closed out all US accounts. 5k lost and a chance at financial freedom what a common group canbet is. He has not played poker online since and I cant say I blame him after all of that mess
