Florida also has this issue too I believe. I think that's why Vanessa Rousso was trying to work on petition to get rid of limit and allow deepstack since that's where skill level is at.

Non-Indian California casinos such as Hollywood Park, Commerce, Larry Flynt's Hustlers, Players Club, Normandie, Hawaiian Gardens, all have crap limit buy-ins, where $1/$2 is $40 buy-in max. Of them, Hollywood Park is the best, which still sucks. The buy-in is $40-$100, so you can buy in for $100. I buy-in for $100 but one thing that really pisses me off is, I can't top up or rebuy until I'm down to $20 or less.

Ever since I started playing home games where they offer 50NL, 100NL games, I stopped going to casino(until thanksgiving day). Home games have no rake, games are softer, and it's very social game while there's no b.s. limit. They let u buy in for 80bb but I can't complain bcz it's still way better than what casinos offer.
