So you are more likely to after a bad hand go step outside and smoke to calm down a lil which can be a good thing get your head clear but also can be bad becuase you might of missed your hand of the night.... Idk about you guys but i have never been in a casino where you could smoke in the poker room I also go to Pennslyvaina and NY Casinos..... so might be diffrent than you guys i understand but i have played in other states and never been in a smoking poker room.. but any ways Now Onto the Smoking Weed portion I Smoke a decent amount of good high grade weed I am really not the type that gets stupid off it I only take a few hits then I am good.. I really think this helps me win more tourneys than anything and here is why..... At the start of any tourney we all know play tight. tight is always right which I really dont agree with anymore i think we need a new stragety because everybody is doing it but anyway....Online isnt so bad becuase lets face it online is so fast paced.. But lets talk about live for a second how many times have you folded until 3-4-5 round before even making a raise i know i have besides of the hands were you were big blind and it got checked around to you... So even at 5 rounds u had a little action but probably nothing big... then first break comes and you are kinda feeling alittle depressed becuase you havent even got a A yet we have all had that day.. now you have 10-15min so you go out to your car and light one up.. after that is done you find yourself on a diffrent lvl of mentality than you just once were and it doesnt seem like you just got bad hands for over a hr so your not focused on that now maybe you even smoked alil too much and your in that axneity state of mind thats ok too.. been there..But now tourney resumes and your back into cards.. Now I start taking in all the information i have gathered at the table from before break and i start really analizing it.. when I get stoned at the poker table im not self concious of what other people think about me but I really start paying attention I dont talk as much which is really a good thing to do.... less you talk less information you give way also which is diffrent than drinking more you drink more you talk... But I Really can stay focused at the table better than when im sober becuase when im sober its not a game i take it to serious sometimes and i dont have fun.. but i could go on on about smoking and my belief that it makes you a better live poker player not really so much online becuase online is just so diffrent.... but i would like to hear other people opinions I know alot of poeple still might be against pot but thats ok I also want to do a experament with mushrooms and go to a live tourney and see how well i do and Im not talking about being stupid and doing 5 grams of silliabian and going to casino now Im talking about just a gram or 2 to get the effect but i know how i am on mushrooms and you can see through people sometimes i think that it would be great and you would do really good tripping and playing cards I WIll eventually test this theory when i get the chance too [/QUOTE]
