Add to that, no one brought coins.  Nor even any real amount of cash.

They balked at play poker, until I brought up bragging rights.  That calmed the guffaws, but we were still without chips.  We thought for a moment, then I thought MONOPOLY MONEY !  Everyone with a kid HAS to have a monopoly game!

They did, and we did.  Turns out Chuck, the cook, has a near perfect poker face.  But the aggressive kid took it down.

By the end of the game, which we started as a SnG, with very aggressive blinds, several of the others who had not started with us, showed a serious interest, and hopefully this might become a staple of future gatherings.  Hanukkah is just around the corner.....:icon_sant
