BUT, IF I did have some friends, I wouldn't play poker with them.  Poker isn't a friendly game for me.  I'm trying to TAKE from you.  I'm trying to deceive you.  I'm trying to induce you to make the wrong play so that I can TAKE some more from you... and the more I take from you, the better it is!   Honestly this is the exact opposite of how I am with my friends (when I actually had some friends I mean).

The closest I've come to playing poker with friends for me was back in the day on Cardschat when we used to have regularly played tournaments with a $1 , $2, $3, $5, or $10 buyin.  Played on Carbon Poker, Titan Poker, UltimateBet, Fulltilt Poker, Pokerstars, Partypoker, LockPoker,  Bodog (< the Bodog games were great... as were all of the others).  I'd see the same group of players in the games and we all chatted on the tables while we played.  I had a few non-friendly experiences but mostly it was just lots of fun and people were really nice/good to one another.  Online poker sure has changed in the past dozen years.
