Checked the flop because this particular player was very aggressive, and I thought he'd bet his hands that didn't have showdown value close to 100% of the time. If he has a hand like QQ-TT or 55-88 I don't really want to bet since he's folding those too much on this board and I'm never getting three streets from those anyway. When he doesn't bet I figure him for something that isn't air. He picked a damn good pair to have! On the river I pull out the fake blocking bet, but it didn't end up mattering since I just coolered him.
