I'm playing a pretty tight showdown-dependent style that I could probably improve upon, but I'm hand-reading and making decisions well enough that I've managed to have a good deal of success with it. Between that style and the fortune of not having too many bad things happen, at least consecutively, the lowered variance has gone a long way towards maintaining my sanity. And to think I was so close to giving up between 16k and 25k.
