Great article. It’s realy a skill to avoid tilts in the bad moments on table. This sometimes makes the difference between the good and the great player.

Haha thats good. But I think you missed one which is a combination of repeat swearing, punching sofas and registering for a heads up sng way above your normal stakes. Or is that just me?

LOL. That's not just you, I'm afraid. I once blew the rest of my deposit on PokerStars many years ago by playing back-to-back $40 sit-n-goes after going on tilt in a tourney!

I think that there is no any "stages of tilt". There is lucky and unlucky days and nothing more! Ceep calm and be happy!

There are other stages like buying a new monitor and fishing your mouse out of the bottom of the inside of your wall through the hole it created at about 3 feet high. The benefits include learning how to repair drywall and having new computer peripherals faster than you would have otherwise replaced them. So it's not all bad. I say go ahead tilt away.
