Theoretical issue:
$1 - $3 NLH.  Player A shoves into a heads up pot for $300 and is AI.  Player B, who has $205 back, tanks for a few minutes, and while contemplating, the waitress comes by with his drink order, he takes $200 of his remaining $205 and gives it to the waitress as a tip - then uses his remaining $5 to call the AI.

Good thing for me, in Michigan poker rooms (not the casinos) we have redemption rules, where you can only redeem up to $10 of your chips at any time for tips.

Most of the floors in Vegas were thinking they would rule that player B would have to get the money back from the waitress and only tip her 10% of his stack max and put the rest into the pot because he said 'call'.  I agree with this.

Even though there is no current policy on redemption's in most Vegas casinos, because of this question they are thinking of imposing one, at least in all Caesars Entertainment Casinos (who this whole group works for).

What do you all think?
