I'm talking something like 100 chips left, just made it through the blinds and can last another round of the table while others can't, and even if you do double up to 200, the blinds hit you again right away. Maybe the next lowest stack after the bubble breaks has 5000 chips. Then I'd fold anything and try again next tournament with my entry fee back. Once the bubble breaks, though, I'm all-in with anything.
