Of course, we each claim that we want government do things that "benefits society," when in fact, those things also line our pockets. Politicians cave into this pressure in hope of being re-elected. No wonder government seems to be on both sides of each issue...all of it being paid for out of our pockets. What we need are constitutional restrictions to keep government from granting special privileges that turn a free market into a zero-sum game. [/QUOTE]
