Well i decided on playing in Full Tilts Daily Double tournament with 1,650 entrants (261 placed). I was playing on top of my game throughout the whole tourney. I wasn't looking at how many people were left and was just focusing on my game. Before i knew it the screen showed that we were playing hand for hand meaning we were playing Bubblicious poker. I was sitting pretty good chip stack wise. I was surprisingly winning almost 90% of my coin flip situations which is really rare for me, so i was really confident with putting short stacks all-in as those situations arose. After playing for a while i decided to check how many were left and to my surprise there was only 50 people left!!! I was saying to myself i think i can really do this, even though i was only sitting with 60k chips and was 18 out of 50 at the time. Once we made the money there is no skill involved in playing anymore as it became an ALL-IN fest. I then see that only 30 people are left and still sitting with 60k which wasn't that bad. I then look and see pocket nines from the cutoff and here is the hand that ends up unfolding. Side pot 23,612. Board: [6s 6c 2d 5c Td] Seat 1: mond showed [Tc Ad] and won (196,373) with two pair, Tens and Sixes Seat 2: Milkman80 showed [9s 9c] and lost with two pair, Nines and Sixes Seat 3: ELTRENEURO (button) showed [8c 8h] and lost with two pair, Eights and Sixes If the ten doesn't come on the river i am sitting with 200k chips and am in 3rd place and only 10k from 1st place. The river hurt so bad and only God knows how i would have finished but i know from past experiences that i would have sat and watched the all in fest continue and placed within the final table guaranteed. But its over and done with and was very fun playing in the tourney. So to end it I got knocked out in 27th place and took down prize of 95.00 outlasting 1,623 people which is a feat in itself, so i am very proud of myself but as i said who knows what i could've accomplished if i had just dodged his 10 on the river to end my tourney life. Is there anything i could've done differently??? Now that i look back on it and saw it played out 10 times through pokertracker i feel i should've pushed when he bet 15k preflop and then i know the button 88 would call and maybe would allow the a10offsuit to fold. Any other ideas??
