When we deposit, the state adds normal sales tax to the deposit.  In L.A. County that will be about 10%, divied up between the city and state.  I also think they should be doing that for Lotto tickets.  However, states would be free to allow for multi-state gaming pools.  I would prefer to think they could join International player pools, but for a while that might be a stretch as far as what the states want to legislate.

At the state level, there will be no income taxes, because we all pay taxes on our indulgence up front.  At the Fed level, normal income taxes will apply, subject to all the deductions that a normal business might use.

Which leaves only a few items unresolved; how to prevent underage players, and gambling addicts.

However, there are those [B]Special Interests[/B].  B&M Casino's and the Indian Gaming cartel.
