Under no circumstances would anyone representing any fellowship have the authority to use the words ascribed to this gentleman, particularly the derogatory ones. Furthermore, while someone may be a member of the fellowship or not, any views they express are their own opinion and do not reflect that of the fellowship. For exactly this type of reason.
 
Not wishing to suggest the Author is being in any way disingenous, the reality is that, while his account may or may not accurately reflect the content of the gentlemans speech the following is the reality of life.
 
I know for certain that Gamblers anonymous does not wish to abolish gambling, indeed it has no opinion on the gambling industry.
 
Nonetheless this has been a very interesting discussion, personally, I doubt whether the visitor to the school is in fact a regularly attending member of any fellowship if any of the comments ascribed to him are true.
 
As a small almost irrelevant point, he most certainly would not have sought payment in any shape or form and I have never heard any member of any fellowship referring to anybody in the world as a degenerate.
