Playing a $20 rebuy and we are down to 5 players. 1 player is somewhat drunk... she is constantly making comments about other players. This game is a friendly game that has a butt-load of very poorly skilled players. I can tell she's making at least 1 of them uncomfortable. Then the following things happened within a 3 min. period of time. -Spilled her beer on table -Exposed the turn card as well as the burn card which where both A's. The flop was KQJ - player holding KT leads out (she exposes cards), then the other player in the hand that would have called with A high and spiked an ace and then never fold (cause he was not very good) said we'll what happens to those cards? Of course they are shuffled back in (not the burn) and action continues. He mummbles well I guess my ace isn't coming if they shuffle it in the deck now. My buddy would have won a monster pot. -She 3 bet shoved in the BB after a sb min. raise and then he folded saying your terrible how can you fold you can never fold there. Many other comments came out of her mouth mostly directed at the poorer skilled players at the table and some needles at me trying to "get a rise out of me". I stopped the action and said in a firm, but respectful voice "listen this is a friendly game that just happens to have a 1st place prize of over $700 could you please stop what you are doing". She starts the hole wtf me, wtf did I do, ect. "I said I know what you are doing, I understand you are drinking, but please understand this is a friendly game so just please stop!" She continued complaining and being shocked that I am saying this. I look at the host of the game and say "she is being way out of line here". All he said was everyone just calm down. Of course drunk she continued her behavior with me saying nothing more because I got my point across and just hoped that the host would speak up, he did not. 1st off it's obvious even just reading about her actions that it was fair to say she was out of line. I mean just the horrendous miss-deal of the turn card possibly cost my buddy a very large pot which then would have possibly allowed him to cash vs. bubble. She was talking shiznit to very poorly skilled players that we all want in the game because for the most part their all dead money. 2nd - I am trying to decide if I want to confront the host next week and say I think if he's going to run these games and collect rake then it's his responsbility to speak up in those situations and at least give a warning to this player. To be honest I wasn't looking for much more than that. A warning would have sent a clear message to stop her poor behavior. I did have several players thank me for confronting her, but I still feel somewhat angry mostly do to the host not saying a word to her about the incidents. Understand I can take a needle or a bad comment directed my way, but when she starts making other players that are level 1 at best start feeling nervous and intimidated she is hurting the game for the rest of us along with just ruining the experiance for the players that are just out to have a good time. Possibly those players don't return?
