Poker is definitely not a get rich quick scheme. You must spend the hours, days, weeks, months, years or sometimes even decades to get the results you want. Poker favours those who put in the time and the work.

You have to have a good self-control and be pragmatic, I think there are 2 important things for a good poker player, from here on I think there should be the risk of playing for a lot of money to win something serious, I don't think you have to be a certain age for that or a lot of years of playing.

I am new and am not at the same time. I have played for many years as a donkey but started learning only since last year.

I don't have big intentions with poker, I once thought about becoming a professional, but I gave up on the idea, because I would have to invest more time playing and studying, apart from the initial investment in money, so I decided to keep playing as a hobby.
