I had my first (hopefully not last) sweat session with Tenbob last night. I played 2 $25 full tables for about an hour using Skype and Team Viewer. While the experience was fun and TB did offer some productive advice, I can't say I played my best game. I'm not sure I was able to play my normal game knowing I was being watched and critiqued. Sort of an adverse observer effect. 
 
On several occasions I found myself checking or calling when my normal play would have been to raise, or fold. In addition I found that my raises were often poorley sized. Much of this had to do with the PT3 HUD I was using for the first time. Often, the stats would cover up the stack sizes or the pot size. Another distraction was the mere act of discussing a previous hand while trying to follow the action on both tables.
Still, I would have finished the session well ahead had my flopped set 8's not been rivered by a weak top pair.
 
All-in-all I think this session was a positive experience and an ill effects were a result of being taken out of my comfort zone. It was very similar to the way I feel when I play at a new site. Once I get used to the layout and feel my game usually normalizes. 
 
As for allowing another player to experience my play as a first person observer, I think this is something that any player will benefit from provided they're getting top notch advice. I have more to add to later, but I've got to run.
