However, I used to play pool at least five nights a week while I was in my last serious relationship. On Wednesday nights my pool buddies usually got together for a low limit cash game. Now that I look at it, it seems like a pretty busy week when you throw a full time job in there. I know I was playing pool more than poker, but to me it seems pretty much the same. The point is that my girlfriend got along with my circle of friends. And it didn't hurt that she usually brought something to keep herself busy if she got bored whether it was at a pool hall or bar or my house. Maybe I was lucky, but on the other hand, she of knew what she was getting into when she started dating me. I don't think my ex-wife would have accepted it if I started playing any significant amount of online poker. But I don't think my ex-girlfriend would have any problem with it at all. I guess it depends on the female and the relationship.
