Trust me praying and god had nothing to do with your success or your luck - Yes putting your last $100 on a $200NL game and coming away a winner is luck - I don't care how good you are or whoever does this is.

Furthermore allowing your gf/wife to blow through your bankroll when you are becoming a winning player is ridiculous and then after getting extremely lucky and winning with that $100 allowing her to play again,,,

If this story is true you may be the luckiest person in the world and I can't in good conscience say what you want to hear and that is "go for it"

As others have said it sounds like you have a gambling addiction - I wouldn't say "give up on your dreams and aspirations" but I would say if you are going to attempt to achieve them find a way to do it without risking your family or your bank roll but don't do so unless you can control yourself and have blessing from your loved ones.
