I did, that was about the time that I started playing. I guess I got pulled in by the whole "poker boom". I did not take it serious until about a year later. By then I was hooked to hooked I had to stop playing because it was taking a toll on my marriage. By the time my marriage had ended Black Friday had happened and I thought that there were no options to play. I mean PS and FTP were gone and I did not even think about looking else where at the time.

And yes the games were juicy,,, Hell i though I was good at a low level of play. But I was just a little bit better then all the true donkey that never really studied then game but just tried to emulate what they saw on TV.

As far as you saying that you came too late. I dont know I think things are about to change. With all the stuff going on with poker getting legalized in the US it might be the right time. As you will have a leg up on all the weekend players that legalization might bring in. I dont know I got my fingers crossed.
