There are a couple of "talismans" I use while playing poker. Here they are: Patience - if you are out of it you will end up losing a lot. Know your position, know your pot odds, know your implied odds, know which hand in what position can be played and how to be played. Yes you need some luck but every person has that little amount of luck that is needed in poker that you don't need any clovers or amulets. The luck is in your head and it comes to these who did everything else properly.

If a talisman gives you confidence, you shouldnt be ashamed to keep it with you. Just dont blame it for your own sins at the table
