Back in the day before online poker was even on the radar, we used to have a home game a few times a month with our neighbor. His dad would play with us sometimes, and he was a STICKLER for keeping the game serious. We always played dealer choice, and if the dealer got silly with the wild cards and such when they called their game, he would get pissed and say, "That's not poker!" and sit out until it got back to a 'true' game. :p So my point is that if someone tried this at our game, they wouldn't be getting their chips back, and none of us would feel bad (and we were all really good friends).
