Yes of course the bigger stakes you play the better the players are, this is just common knowledge.

I'm struggling to understand what you're quoting me for? It seems you think I have said the opposite of what I'm saying lol.

I said; Gus is not good ENOUGH to beat the players he plays in the highest stakes. He just simply can't beat them, but he has the money to obviously throw away hence the reason he doesn't move down. If at some point his poker bankroll starts to drop to much and he hasn't got any more money incoming, then obviously he wont be able to continue playing at the stakes he does.

Simply put; Gus doesn't and hasn't ever made any income from high stakes online cash games, but still obviously can afford to feed the sharks there.

If Gus was playing lower stakes, I'm sure he can beat them. However, the guys at the absolute highest stakes are worlds apart from other "good" players which includes gus and all the best online players are more than happy sitting him.
