What I'm really wondering is if buying Harrington on Hold'em or any other poker books would help me get past those spots and make deep runs in to tournaments more often. I am a pretty good player, I started with $100 in about July of last year and have withdrawn about $1900 from cash games and tournament wins and have about $400 in my bankroll about now. I've never actually read any books or studied poker much though, the extent of my studying has been reading some of the articles on this forum and posting in the hand analysis forum.

So anyway I just want to know if the Harrington on Hold'em books are worth the $70 or whatever I would have to spend on them. I probably could've saved myself some typing by just asking that right away but whatever :p
