I recall many pros discussing their "reckless" youth days when they blew all their money after going on tilt (Helmuth, Ivey) they didnt seem to regret it: possibly because they are now rich, but I believe many pros see going broke as a necessary step to stardom

1 time went from $50 to my name to 5 number amount of money (online) in a 2 week span only to tilt out in blow it.. Have also gone from -300 to $2600 in a 2 day live span and only to tilt out and blow it again.. Lol need to work on that problem

I'm no pro, but I have the urge to play 600 NL just to say I did it.

There are many pros that have never been broke. They know how to practice good BRM and manage their lifestyle (like not blowing money just because they have it.)
